The Megiddo schoolkids have been
working on the area adjacent to the Ochberg Memorial Site - here are
two examples of their handiwork in the construction of a mosaic sign - "The Path of Blooms" - and a stone resting place in the shade of a tree along the circular track.
20-12-2012 marked the commemoration of the 75th yahrzeit of Isaac Ochberg - of blessed memory - in Cape Town. Hosting the ceremony was Lauren Snitcher and daughter Michaela together with the JNF and SAZF. Molly Cohen, the oldest living Ochberg Orphan at age 99, received the honour of unveiling a plaque to mark the event.
A 6-minute clip was filmed here in Israel for the Cape Town ceremony. View it here - (NB. Great on Mac or iPad - question mark against the others!)
